Lighting Design for the entertainment industry |

Matt Ladkin is the founder and director of Stages in Design. Working as a freelance lighting and sound designer and technician he has amassed portfolio of over 60 productions for a variety of amateur and professional companies. Matt is a member of the Association of Lighting Designers and has been featured in a number of publications including The NODA Magazine (for his work with Sudbury Light Operatic Society) and Amateur Stage (for Headgate Theatre Productions). Design credits include: Alone it Stands, King Lear, Insignia, Tame Debate, The Dog in the Manger, Orca The Goldfish and Outside Edge for the Headgate Theatre Colchester. Goldstars, The Birth of Love and Rough Cut for DNA Productions. Annie and Oklahoma! for The Princes Theatre Clacton. Present Laughter, Carpe Jugulum, Puss in Boots and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolfe for The Quay Theatre Sudbury. Matt has also worked on behalf of the Cambridge Arts Theatre, The Mercury Theatre, The Lakeside Theatre, Colchester Arts Centre and MM Productions providing design and technical services. |
